Phillip G. Day May 22, 1924 - August 16, 1999 IN MEMORY - Phillip George Day passed away on Monday, August 16, 1999 at Schumpert Medical Center after a sudden illness. Phillip was the Treasurer and Historian and for many years kept the newsletter, "POOP FROM GROUP" going with his tenacity to dig up and coerce stories from the membership. He also provided many stories of his own. He presented the 8th Air Force Heritage Museum with a picture of the B-24 "LIL PEACH", which now hangs in the museum. Phillip was not only a valuable member of the 467th, but was also a dear friend. He will be deeply missed by the Officers, Board Members and the general membership to which he added immensely. Our sincere sympathy is expressed to his wife, Ms Cille, and his surviving family. In his own words, "May he go from Strength to Strength in the Life of Perfect Service in GOD'S HEAVENLY KINGDOM".
