A replacement crew who were assigned to the 788th Squadron 20th October 1944. On their 7th mission, 25th December 1944, their aircraft came under attack from enemy Fw-190s which resulted in the plane partially exploding and crashing in Belgium. Seven crew members were killed in action (KIA) while a RCM Operator and the two pilots were blown out and survived. The regular Bombardier Lt. Charles Fiedler was not on the mission but was KIA a week later flying with the Lt. Arthur M. Holter crew, 1st January 1945. See Casualties Page.
