Arthur M. Holter Crew#16

Another former 492nd BG crew; original pilot William R. Hall was killed during a practice mission over the North Sea on August 16th 44. See Casualties Page.  Copilot Arthur Holter subsequently became crew commander. Six of the crew were KIA after their aircraft suffered a direct hit by flak minutes before the target on the January 1st 45 mission to Guls, Germany. See MACR Casualties Page.
