A former 492nd BG crew who flew 10 missions with this unit. Affectionately known as the "Brothers, Smothers, & Others" crew, they finished their tour in early January 1945. Mel Culross left the crew as there was no requirement for a ball-turret gunner and remained with the Squadron as a RCM operator flying those B24 Group aircraft RCM equipped.
