467th 2010 Reunion in Las Vegas

This year's reunion is to be held in Las Vegas Nevada on October 7 through October 11. This year you will notice an increase in the cost per person, this is mostly due to the cost of food, it's expensive in Las Vegas. The up side to this is that the cost of rooms is so much cheaper, the total cost per person will be roughly $100.00 per person cheaper than it was in Savannah Georgia. So don't let the price scare you away!!!!

467^th Bombardment Group (Heavy) 2010 Convention

When: Thursday, October 7 through Monday, October 11, 2010

Where: Orleans Hotel and Casino, 4500 West Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89103 (702) 365-7090

Reservations: Can be made through the Hotels website at www.orleanscasino.com/groups , use reservation ID 0467C10, or call the Hotel’s Room Reservations Department direct at 1-800-675-3267 and identify themselves as members of a group or convention with Group Name 467^th Bomb Group (Heavy) Reunion. If you do not use this, you will not receive the special rates. Cut-off date is 09/04/10!!!

When making reservations, your credit card will be charged a fee right away to hold your room. It will be deducted from your hotel bill upon leaving.

Thursday, October 7 – Welcome Reception - 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. in the Bienville Room, Salon H

Friday, October 8 – Breakfast – 6:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m. in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D

• 8:30 a.m. – Depart Hotel for 45-minute scenic drive to Hoover Dam
• 9:15 a.m. – Arrive at Hoover Dam for a 2-hour Discovery Tour including the Power Plant, Observation Deck, Exhibit Center and gift shops
• 11:30 a.m. – Re-board coach for trip down to the Lake Mead Dock
• 11:45 a.m. – Board the Desert Princess for an enjoyable, one-and-a-half hour cruise on Lake Mead (includes a boxed lunch)
• 2:00 p.m. – Re-board coach for a trip to Henderson and a stop at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Gardens
• 4:00 p.m. – Re-board coach for the trip back to the Orleans Hotel and Casino
• 5:00 p.m. – Arrive back at the Hotel
• 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. – Dinner in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D

Saturday, October 9 – Breakfast – 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D

• 9:45 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – Depart Hotel for the Liberace Museum
• 10:30 a.m. – Private Guided Tour (separated into 2 groups) of the Liberace Museum (Jewelry and Costume Gallery, Pianos and Automobiles Building)
• 11:45 a.m. – Lunch served in the Liberace Museum Cabaret Showroom: Choice of Sandwich (Turkey, Roast Beef, Ham & Cheese, Tuna Fish) served on a large Croissant Roll; all sandwiches (except Tuna Fish) served with cheese unless otherwise specified. Salad, Chips, Dessert, Choice of Beverage, Coffee or Tea
• 1:00 p.m. – Musical Show in the Liberace Museum Cabaret Showroom (preferred seating)
• 2:00 p.m. – Gift Shop, personal time around the Museum
• 2:45 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Re-board coach for the trip back to the Orleans Hotel and Casino
• 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Cash Bar (7:00 - 11:00 p.m.), Dinner/Dance (8:00 - 11:00 p.m.) in the Dauphine Room, Salon B, C, D, E

Sunday, October 10 – Breakfast – 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D

• 9:00 a.m. - Personal time in Las Vegas
• 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. -  Board of Directors Meeting
• 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – Business Meeting
• 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Lunch in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D
• 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. – Meetings (Board of Directors, Business and Membership)
• 3:00 p.m. – Personal time in Las Vegas
• 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. – Cash Bar (7:00-11:00 p.m.), Dinner/Dance (8:00 - 11:00 p.m.), Guest Speaker from Nellis Air Force Base (9:00 - 10:00 p.m.)

Monday, October 11 – Breakfast – 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. in the Dauphine Room, Salon C and D
